Analysis of What I Learned:

     Through completing my experience at Burris, I learned not to assume that all children learn the same. Sometimes it was difficult being able to get to help everybody when trying to work in small groups. I loved being able to complete my lesson plans with my group members. We learned that not everything will go as planned in a lesson. We had technology issues, but we worked through our difficult problems. I learned that children learn through play and being able to see students go to the dramatic play area in the classroom and how well they enjoyed it was so cute and I want to include a dramatic play area for my students when I get my own classroom. I loved being able to hear Mrs. Furnish talk about how well our lessons went and she gave us some feedback to correct for the next lesson. As we continued to do other lessons throughout the semester, each group did better and better on their lessons. I loved being able to see all of our students get excited about going outside to play games with their Ball State teachers. Some of the students said this is so much fun and they love playing outside. I am thankful to give my students goodie bags for listening and participating in all of our lessons. My group gave Mrs. Furnish a thank you card and a goodie bag to say thank you for letting us come into your classroom and teaching lessons.
